Campaign will promote Ethereum’s potential to enable a decentralised world

London, 2 May 2018– Leading blockchain company, ConsenSys, has appointed b2b technology PR specialist Red Lorry Yellow Lorry as its EMEA PR agency. Following a competitive pitch process, the lorries have been appointed to increase brand awareness of ConsenSys and help drive adoption of the Ethereum blockchain in Europe.

ConsenSys started as a venture production studio and has quickly become one of the largest and fastest-growing blockchain companies. With over 750+ members, ConsenSys is a global formation of technologists and entrepreneurs building the infrastructure, applications and practices that enable a decentralised interaction between businesses and people. It was founded by Ethereum co-founder, Joseph Lubin in 2014. In February this year, the European Commission announced that it will partner with ConsenSys on the European Union Blockchain Observatory. The Blockchain Observatory and Forum will highlight key developments of the blockchain technology, promote European blockchain initiatives and reinforce European engagement with multiple stakeholders involved in blockchain activities.

ConsenSys has multiple European offices, including London, Berlin, Paris and soon to be in Dublin, with key focus on UK, Germany and France. It will target stakeholders including businesses, technology influencers, developers and governments through a mixture of thought-leadership, storytelling, speaker engagements, social media and media outreach.

Patrick Degenhardt, head of marketing, EMEA at ConsenSys said: “Blockchain and Ethereum have the potential to change entire industries from banking to music to property and beyond. Our aim is to demystify Ethereum on a larger scale, show blockchain’s business value and lead the charge in best practices for the tokenised economy.”

James Beck, PR at ConsenSys: “The Lorries showed an outstanding level of commitment, knowledge and energy in our RFP process. They provided a comprehensive plan that was in line with our own expectations and was flexible enough to accommodate our goals in a creative way. I’m looking forward to working together and delivering on our plans!”

The account will be led by Red Lorry Yellow Lorry’s Hannah Patel, director, UK and Saskia Stolper, director, Germany.

Hannah Patel added: “Anyone involved in technology should care about the blockchain. The potential is huge. Through its mixture of incubators, education academy, consulting and venture capital teams, ConsenSys have a vital role to play in the future of the sector. They’re a really innovative company and it’s a significant win for us in the blockchain space – especially as it adds to our growing client roster working with our Berlin team.”
