How we did it
We delivered an end-to-end service – from initial concepts and design execution to tone of voice and content creation. After designing a mood board with several design and layout options, we tackled these three objectives:
Bringing DMS’ values, vision, culture and behaviours to life
- Interviewed several employees at various levels to get their perspectives on life at DMS and how the culture has shaped their experiences.
- Took inspiration from DMS’ brand identity and the film and entertainment industry to design bespoke ‘film’ posters with employee quotes.
Establishing DMS as an exciting place to work and develop careers
- Worked with the DMS team to establish the right structure and tone of voice – making content as stimulating as possible to differentiate it from other onboarding materials, while staying within brand guidelines.
- Put names to faces by using a combination of headshots, workplace imagery and employee quotes, highlighting DMS’ people-first approach.
Informing DMS’ recruitment, staff development and talent retention strategies
- Updated DMS’ key HR templates to maintain the same look and feel as the culture book.
- Provided one customisable master PowerPoint template and one editable master Word template, using PDF and PPT examples to visualise the creative concept.
